Flickr Photo Gallery

How many images can I display in my gallery?

A whole lot! 500, in fact.

How do I find my Flickr User ID? What about albums IDs?
We've placed a quick link in the widget options panel to a great tool for grabbing user IDs: idgettr.com.

For albums, you can grab the number off of the end of the URL when viewing an album overview page. Alternatively, you can use idgettr.com for album IDs as well.

PDF Viewer

Why doesn't the PDF show up in my browser?

A couple possible reasons are browser limitation or outdated Adobe Reader versions. If you feature important PDF documents on your site, it might be a good idea to place a reminder to make sure that site visitors have the latest version of Adobe Reader. You can also add your own custom text in the widget panel that shows up when a display error has occurred.

What if I want to display PDFs on my page, but I'm tight on space?

Our widget features an option to "fit to bounding box". This means that however you size the widget box, the PDF displayed in-browser will be confined to the area of the widget container. That means that if the widget box is set to approximately half of the height of one page of the PDF, the entire PDF document will display in a half-height window. Users can scroll through the document with the scrollbar or mouse wheel.

HeadLiner

Can I only animate single words? What about entire paragraphs?

This very versatile widget lets you animate any text, regardless of length. We really love this widget on headlines (hence the name), but it works well on entire paragraphs too. You will find that some transition types are more appropriate than others for long lines of text.

Can I use this widget several times on the same page?

Yep! We've made sure that this widget supports multiple instances on the same page, so you can use it as often as you like!

Pushy Panes

Why does every line of text in my Pushy Pane menu transition to the text rollover state color at the same time when I'm just hovering over one line of text?

State buttons are purposefully designed to trigger everything placed inside of them at the same time. This means that any time you hover over a state button, you will transition every element within into its rollover state. An easy way to avoid this is to use state buttons for your individual lines of text, linked buttons, or menu items. When a state button is placed inside of a state button, the inner button is not triggered by the state button in which it is placed. So put simply, if you are going to create for example, "home", "about", and "contact" buttons in your child pane, create the buttons using separate state buttons instead of text boxes.

Pushy Panes isn't working with the Fullscreen Video Backgrounds widget!

Our Pushy Panes widget offers two pane open style options: cover content and push content. The push content setting is not compatible with fullscreen elements. This includes widgets like Fullscreen Video Backgrounds, Fullscreen Thumbnail Gallery, and Fullscreen Fruit. While the push setting is not compatible, the cover setting will work great with all fullscreen elements.
