Upcoming Projects & Priorities
(please note priorities and projects are subject to change)
New Projects:
-

-
Pushy Panes 2.0 – a complete rebuild of one of our most popular widgets, Pushy Panes 2.0 will include improved compatibility and performance, along with plenty of training and demo files to explore.
-
Show / Hide on Scroll – a simple, free widget that enables you to show and hide elements on scroll. This widget is perfect for navigation systems, and will be featured in our upcoming theme.
-
Infini Club Theme – A multi-page responsive site that's geared towards a fitness / social club.
-
Pop Up Modals – Pop-ups in Muse have always been challenging without the use of expensive third party services. We're exploring ideas for creating modals in Muse with custom timing settings. Stay tuned!
Final Thoughts
Next Muse Release
Unfortunately we can't share any details about the next release of Adobe Muse, however, we can tell you we'll be working through our existing library of products to take advantage of the new features coming. Adobe doesn't announce release dates, but historically we've seen a new version drop in the summer (July / August) so it's almost time for us to get working.
New Muse releases are also a good opportunity for us to clean up our library, and remove any old products that are no longer relevant. Recently, many of our widgets have been completely rebuilt to take advantage of new development technologies, and we'll begin moving old products into an archive section of our site. Archived products will still be available to members who need them, but we'll focus our future development and support efforts on their replacements.
Release Planning / Requests
In May we like to sit down and plan out our release calendar for the next six months. Having a detailed plan in place helps us stay ahead and keep delivering quality content each week. We'll be closely reviewing all of your product requests, reviews and comments to figure out exactly what you need most. Please feel free to comment on this post below (or submit a request here) and let us know what you would like to see most in the second half of 2017!
Thanks for being members of MuseThemes.com.
Cheers,
Steve Harris

Really need an updated version of Snap Scroll. A lot!
Hey what’s the status of the Surreal CMS? Any news?
So excited about Pushy Panes 2.0. It was too glitchy for me to use and hasn’t been able to find a good alternative.
A pop up widget would be awesome.
Keep up the good work guys! You are doing great
Thanks for the updates, looking forward to the popup widget. Would love to see a drop menu built into a contact form. My clients are always asking for this option for their forms.
Great to hear about new things coming ahead. One thing I’ve been requesting for a long time is a slider that could be full width and full height and still be scrolled past like your hero widget. I’ve been seeing this on more and more sites (even a video hero that can be scrolled past is common now). I know if you could design this all of your users would appreciate it…Especially me! Thanks!!!
Could really 2 things:
- update options on some of the pre-responsive templates (pre-2013/14)
- restaurant menu stack with responsive list option w/o photos and price styles
Otherwise I’m thrilled with the new article connect and newer templates. Thanks sooo much!
Would really appreciate an overhaul of Presentation Panels that would take us from desktop, to tablet, to mobile. Not sure of the coding challenges, but the ability to make responsive panels across all the platforms opens up some interesting design ideas. Thank you.
I second the request for an update of Snap Scroll as well.
Hi Steve
Would it be possible for you to create a library of RESPONSIVE widgets which can are compatible with Muse 2017.0.2 and put out a download link for those.
Also, when the new version of Muse comes out do the same.
This will be a real time saver for members.
Many thanks
Mike
Thanks for all your hard work guys!
Did you guys ever get that Mailchimp widget working?
Love all muse themes products, and tutorial! Excellent project.
I really appreciate that the current Media Gallery Pro loads both thumbnails and videos completely reliably when published.
I really hope your update of Media Gallery Pro includes an option for the Lightbox to only include the images/videos that are in the category of a clicked thumbnail. Also, the ability to customize the previous and next buttons within the Lightbox, so that they don’t obstruct the video controls of embedded Vimeo videos, is essential. Finally, more design features and customizability (custom cursors, icon overlays and separate title and description overlays for thumbnails, additional hover effects and animations, etc.) would be enhancements that would be very much appreciated.
